  1. Download the launcher below and run it. Point it at an empty folder and it downloads the full HD client for you (~25 GB) with a progress bar, retail-style WoD/Legion models and high-res textures. No unzipping.
  2. Create your account. You'll get a verification email; click the link to activate it.
  3. Check the realmlist. Already set for you; to do it manually, edit realmlist.wtf to read:
    set realmlist 73.124.12.5
  4. Play! The launcher keeps everything patched automatically, then launches the game. Log in, create your character, and dive in.
